It is safe to say that we find ourselves in uncertain times and at Black and White we are working hard to put in relevant steps and precautions in relation to the current situation. We have reduced the numbers of staff working from our offices and are restricting access to visitors where possible. We aim to retain a rota of staff in our offices between the hours of 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday. We have been advised to postpone all property visits for the foreseeable future with the exception of those at empty properties.

Should the Government enforce a lock down, all members of our team will be able to work from home effectively with access to our complete and secure cloud-based systems. This will enable us to keep in touch with our tenants and landlords and allow sales to progress, new tenancies to start and current tenancies to continue.

We ask that if any of our vendors, landlords or tenants display any symptoms or receive confirmation that they have tested positive for the virus to ensure they follow Government isolation timeframes. If you require to contact us during any isolation periods, please do so via email or telephone in order to keep our staff safe.

If you are a tenant with us we will continue to monitor the situation going forward. Should you be affected financially by this virus, we would advise you to contact us to discuss your situation in confidence. Information and resources regarding financial support are available on the internet and the Government are looking at providing support to people and families impacted by this pandemic. We would encourage those that are still working or receiving Housing Benefit payments to continue to pay their rent on time to support our landlords.
